Optimisation

At DGS we continuously strive for optimisation. One of the solutions we offer our customers is our stainless steel chain system. Where we typically use galvanised steel in our conveyor systems, our customers have the option to choose the stainless steel version.

Our HSLC (Hygenic Slaughter Line Chain) is a big step in both improving hygiene and reducing the downtime of the slaughter line for maintenance. Although the ‘standard’ conveyor solutions are relatively hygienic and easy to maintain, this version goes one step further. The galvanised versions need to be oiled. During oiling, the entire process comes to a halt. This downtime is nonexistent with our stainless steel solution. Our chain is pre-lubricated and sealed, so that interim oiling and maintenance are no longer necessary. The result is less downtime, more production. An additional advantage is that there is no risk of dripping fat and contamination on the carcass.
